A member is offering lapidary classes.
Classes are limited to 3 students a session.
Price would be $25 for 4 hours.
It would include hands on instruction in the
operation and use of slab and trim saws and
lapidary cabbing equipment. Cabbing
material will be supplied, although students
can bring their own.

Classes will be held in Cabot on
Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2 PM.
Refreshments and snacks would be supplied.

Students will be required to wear
personal safety googles. These should
be brought with them to class and can be purchased at Home Depot in the Tool section for a few dollars.
Waterproof aprons will be provided.

Instruction will begin with a general outline of shop and equipment safety.

A second session will be offered to those
who would like to wrap their finished stone into a piece of jewelry.
